United Against Hate Week
October 19-25, 2025

United Against Hate was created by civic leaders in direct response to the sharp rise in expressions of hate in our communities. We want to empower local residents to take action in their local communities and alter the course of this growing intolerance.

From attending an event to posting to social media, take a look at all the ways you can engage with Cook County United Against Hate both during and around United Against Hate Week.

Attend an Event

With nearly daily engagement opportunities, Cook County United Against Hate is coming to a library near you this United Against Hate! Connect with resources, sign the pledge, and find new ways to get involved.

Teens aged 14-18 are invited to join us for Right To Be's Voices in Action youth bystander intervention training that will be held at the Chicago Botanic Garden. We can't wait to see you all aroudn the 14th District!

Start a Conversation - Post a PSA

Display any number of our public service announcement-style graphics to let those around you know why you stand up to hate! This graphics can be used on social media, billboards or digital displays to start a conversation about the importance of taking action against hate in our communities.

Expand your literary horizons

The Glenview Public Library, a Cook County United Against Hate partner, has compiled an expansive list of must-read anti-hate resources. Check out these great reads that offer solutions for combating hate, violence, and extremism in our increasingly divided world.

Share the United Against Hate Week Bookmark

Save your page while letting everyone know that Hate Has No Home Here. This is an easy and fun way of letting readers and non-readers alike know that you stand against hate in all of its forms. And who knows - it might start a great conversation! Print as many as you'd like to share with family, friends, coworkers, and clients.
